Small fittings can arrive mixed, scratched or hard to identify unless packing is agreed before production. Put protective packing and carton identification in the same approval record as the product specification.
Protect the critical interfaces
Threaded fittings such as the brass swing check valve need protection around connection areas. Plastic fittings and valves should be separated so levers, sockets and surfaces are not damaged in transit.
Make cartons traceable
Agree SKU, size, material and quantity marking for each carton. Confirm whether mixed cartons are permitted and how the buyer will inspect the arrival sample.
